What is the difference between Single Channel and Front & Rear?
Single Channel records only the road ahead at 1080p (₦150,000). The Front & Rear tier (Dual Channel) adds a second camera facing the rear at the same resolution (₦250,000). It is the top tier and the standard choice for executives, families with drivers, and ride-share operators. Both tiers are 4G.
Will it record continuously or only on events?
Continuous loop while driving. The G-sensor locks an event clip (typically 30 seconds) when it detects a collision, so the relevant footage does not get overwritten. Parking mode wakes the camera on impact when the car is off.
Are the dashcams 4G? Can I live stream and track on a map?
Yes. Every CTN dashcam, single channel and Front & Rear, is 4G. You can live stream the camera and track the vehicle on a map from a paired GPS tracking screen in real time, not just review footage after the fact.
Is this the same as the AI dashcam I've seen advertised?
No. CTN does not sell AI dashcams under the dashcam name. Our top-tier dashcam is the Front & Rear tier (front + rear recording). The AI fleet system with ADAS road warnings and DMS driver-state detection is a separate product called Video Telematics, priced per fleet quote.
Will the install void my car warranty?
No. Hardwire kit taps into the fuse box without cutting wires or removing components permanently. We can remove the install at any time with no residue. Most OEM warranties allow third-party accessory installation by professionals.
