What a GPS immobilizer is
A GPS immobilizer, or engine e-lock, lets you cut the engine remotely.
From your phone, or through your tracking provider, you can stop a stolen car where it stands and prevent it being restarted.
It is wired into the vehicle so a thief cannot simply drive on, and it sits alongside the GPS lock as the active half of theft protection.
Not an alarm that shouts. A switch that stops.
How it changes a theft
